Our mission
Our mission is to empower clients to trust their bodies' innate wisdom, have restored hope for healing, and thrive in their holistic health.
What we offer
3 or 6 month program
We believe our bodies are intricately designed for healing. As Functional Nutritional Therapy Practitioners (FNTPs), we first empower our clients with proper nutrition and lifestyle modifications to support optimal health and healing. Second: we test the body for deprivations, and recommend appropriate supplementation. We focus on optimizing what we call the foundations: Nutrient Dense Diet, Blood Sugar Regulation, Digestion, Sleep, and Stress. This foundational approach is what sets us apart and helps us support our clients holistically. It takes time to see results from the bio-individual recommendations we provide our clients, which can vary from person to person. For this reason we offer a 3 or 6 month program. See more information below.

Functional Clinical Assessment
This assessment can only be done in-person. We use specific palpation points that correspond with organs to assess your nutritional needs. This is an especially helpful modality if you are interested in supplementation, as it helps us know what your body specifically needs as everyone is unique. This picture shows a glimpse of what it looks like.

Christine polito, FNTP
Christine is a lively, loving woman, with a heart fully alive. She was a very athletic young woman until her health took a turn in the latter half of high school. Like many, she was labeled with various diagnoses that attempted to explain the presentation of autoimmune dysfunction. This apparent setback started a very long journey of understanding the human body, how it works, how it doesn’t work, and the ways to nurture and care for it.She grew up in the Florida sunshine and now lives in sunny San Diego. She’s been married for over two decades, has five wonderful children, and a passion for helping others fine-tune their quality of life. She loves her family, the outdoors, spontaneous dance parties, and people. Her myriad of experience and suffering offers an extensive collection of wisdom and understanding, leading others to wholeness. She looks forward to walking alongside any other person who is willing to take the journey.

Kelli Mays, FNTP
Kelli is down to earth, compassionate, active and ambitious. She loves empowering clients to trust their bodies again, and give them hope for health and healing. Her passion comes from her own health journey. She was diagnosed with Hashimotos hypothyroiditis and has a history of irritable bowl syndrome. After 7+ years of getting no real help with conventional medicine, she found lasting health in the holistic health world. She especially found healing through food and lifestyle changes. She loves to share her knowledge, insight, and empathy with anyone interested in working with her.Kelli grew up in Northern Michigan, where she fell in love with the outdoors and swimming (lakes were never far away). Now she lives in San Diego (her dream city) with her supportive husband and goldendoodle. She loves trying out new restaurants, coffee shops, hiking, walking, going to the beach, farmers markets, and spending time with friends and family.

Testimonials
Stefany H.
Working with Kelli in my nutrition journey has been life changing. Kelli is able to make the science behind the why certain foods triggered my symptoms easy to understand which in turn helped me make more informed decision later. She gave me manageable and attainable goals, which has significantly improved my GI problems. Additionally, she encouraged me to find alternatives for the foods I love with other economically sound options. Kelli is very knowledgeable and I would recommend to anyone who wants to make a change that’ll stay with you for life.
